Search results
The "intelligent" search is a powerful way to query the database ; short words (less than 3 characters) and too common words (appearing in more than half of the messages of the archive) will be filtered out to speed the search. The results are returned more relevant first.
NB: perhaps too "intelligent" because if you make a search on The Ex for instance, the results of the search will not be usable ("The" is too common and "Ex" is too short).
The "brute" search forces to query the database for the terms you provide but is slower and the results are not returned in any significant order.
